I am interested in found materials, especially those that appear worn and used. I like to imagine where they are from, who used them and why they were discarded. The drawings have been drawn only after the materials where chosen and the characters developed to fit the shape and the imagined history of the material. The paper used in the piece is thin newsprint or butchers paper, which will cause the characters to age and yellow over time, continuing the evolving story of the objects.
